Everything about Deadpool

Deadpool is a fictional character from the Marvel universe. The character appears in comic books published by who would have thought Marvel Comics. The character’s name is Wade Winston Wilson and he was brought to life by writer Fabian Nicieza and artist/writer Rob Liefeld. Deadpool first appereance was in the New Mutants #98. Over time he evolved from being a supervillain into his more recognizable antiheroic persona with the tendency to talk and joke and talk even more crap constantly, including breaking the fourth wall for humorous effect and running gags which is why he also is know as the Merc with a Mouth.

Deadpool is a mercenary and his primary super powers are an accelerated healing factor and his physical prowess. The speed of healing depends on the severity of the wound and Deadpool’s mental state. When Deadpool’s healing ability was given to him, he suffered from some form of cancer; so the healing ability made his normal cells as well as his cancerous cells unable to die, which led to a heavily scarred appearance beneath his superhero suit. To sum it all he is a disfigured and mentally unstable mercenary who’s healing capability and humour is absurd.

In addition to comic books Deadpool has his own movies where he is portraited by Ryan Reynolds.

1. Deadpool has a weak spot for Spider-Man so he constantly tries to win him over as his Best Friend. The most persistent bromance in comic book history you will ever witness.
2. When Deadpool was first created, he was remarkably similar to the mercenary Deathstroke from DC Comics. As a joke of this coincidence, they gave him the name Wade Wilson. Who knows whether Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke approves.
3. Deadpool is a proud Canadian. Although his actual birth location is unknown he is often referencing his home country and using terms in metric to tease our American friends.
4. Deadpool’s biggest fear is to end up alone. That’s why Deadpool has bovinophobia also known as the excessive and often irrational fear of cows or cattle. It is the chilling stare of the cows that makes him feel that way.
5. Deadpool’s childhood hero was the great Captain America. Both characters are bonded by the fact that they were Government experiments. Additionally, Captain America is one of the few Marvel characters to treat Deadpool with respect.
